Charmaine brought a wealth of experience and expertise in her role as consultant for a needs assessment project we carried out related to violence prevention and awareness. This project required significant amounts of flexibility and many last-minute changes to travel plans, meeting schedules, and reports. Throughout all of it, Charmaine was professional, timely, and a pleasure to work with. She provided much-needed advice and support at every stage of this project. I highly recommend working with Coastline Consultants, especially for any projects relating to the community and non-profit sector or anti-violence work.

Prior to taking part in a Coastline session on Compassion Fatigue I was skeptical that I would learn anything new that I hadn't already heard before. But the tools and information provided by the facilitators and discussion from my session has played a critical role in increasing my productivity and job satisfaction. I will continue to use these techniques on a daily basis. Thanks Coastline Consultants."

She also provided assistance in the development of policy documents, and evaluation and growth of our programs. We highly recommend Coastline Consultants and look forward to an opportunity to work with them again.

Janet's Art Journaling Class was a epiphany experience for me creatively. Her class introduced me to the how the concepts of collage, print making, painting can be used to explore my inner voice. These new techniques have helped me to discover aspects of myself that I never knew existed and I now use these tools as I continue on my beautiful journey of self discovery. I'm most certainly indebted to Janet for providing me with this wonderful introduction to a fantastic new way for me to express myself.

Your thoughtful, succinct and well-presented response to questions as well as the final strategic planning report was appreciated by staff and all members of the Gander Status of Women Council Board. Your comprehensive understanding of the non-profit sector, its strengths as well as the challenges faced by this organization is apparent.
We have, and will continue to, recommend your service to other organizations and contacts. We could not be more satisfied with your work.
--Board and Executive Director, Gander Status of Women Council

The NL Sexual Assault Crisis and Prevention Centre worked with Coastline Consultants to develop a province wide needs assessment. Charmaine provided outstanding guidance and insight into capturing the needs of our province in relation to the work of NLSACPC. Coastline Consultants understood community, were professional and very collaborative in their approach. Their work has become the building blocks of the Centre’s most recent strategic plan. I highly recommend any organization seeking growth to work with Charmaine and Coastline Consultants.
       --Nicole Kieley, Executive Director, NLSACPC

The training we received from Coastline Consultants was very professional and informative.  The trainer, Charmaine, made the entire day extra interesting with her approach and personality.  A very grounded, informative person who was very sincere and respectful of the training used her knowledge from frontline experience to allow for easy engagement versus being spoke to.  By far some of the best training we have ever participated in.

Charmaine and Tracy are exceptional facilitators with a wealth of knowledge on compassion fatigue. Their authentic facilitation style engages participants and they bring real life, relevant learning into the classroom which breathes life into the topic. Their facilitation styles are complimentary to each other, but both have a great sense of humour. I left the workshop more knowledgeable and inspired to take better care of myself and my co-workers. I highly recommend this workshop!

I knew a little about journaling but really nothing much about drawing or painting so when I saw the poster for Art Journaling, I was curious, so I signed up to do the session. At first I was distracted by the thoughts racing round in my head saying " you can't draw, what are you doing here?" But then Janet Peter, the facilitator, started to guide the group through the process and quickly those self defeating messages began to fade. I found myself on a very personal journey through a mountain of feelings I didn't know were waiting for me to express. Through the use of materials, color, words and symbols my path cleared and there I was...Powerful...fully aware...ME. I felt such calmness, I had no idea of what to expect when I set out and was so glad I gave it a try. That one session set me on a determined course that resulted in many things getting cleared and completed. Thank you Coastline for making this possible. It was excellent.

The Pottle Centre is a drop in social and recreational centre for consumers of mental health services. We came to meet Charmaine through a mutual friend when we were looking for someone to lead a group session for our members with regard to dealing with Christmas, which of course can be a difficult time. We have now offered "Coping With the Holidays" for the last few years and our members have enjoyed these sessions as well as finding them beneficial. Charmaine is kind, intuitive, caring and an all round beautiful human being. She is a smart business woman and easy to work with, I highly recommend her services.
